THE LAST NOTE

The Last note is the latest film of the Greek director Padelis Voulgaris, based on the true story of the execution of two hundreds communist Greeks, prisoners under the German occupation during WW2.

 

The feature was filmed in Crete with an international cast, and features Yorgos Karamalegos, who plays the part of the communist Nikos Mariakakis, who was executed on the 1st of May 1944.

 

The film premieres in Greece on the 26th of October 2017. European distribution will follow.
